LINDA TOBOROWSKY
Since 1983, Linda has been a member of the Society of Professional Journalists. Over the years, she has written and published feature articles in newspapers such as the Home News Tribune, the Princeton Packet and Staten Island Advance; several magazines, and various professional newsletters. Her poetry has been published in, 'Voices of America.' Linda completed her novel of fiction, 'PRISMS' in the 1970s. She was a charter member of the New Jersey Writer's Association.
During the 1980s, Linda discovered and developed Shadow-Art photography and had several exhibits of her work in New Jersey and West Virginia. During the 80s and 90s she was affiliated with several art galleries in New Jersey and handled the public relations for the galleries, artists and musicians.
In 1999-2000, Linda Co-hosted the original show, 'FESTIVAL' on WPBR with artist and Co-host, Roy Steinberg. The radio program aired out of West Palm Beach, Florida. From 2006 through 2008, Linda Hosted 'Festival of the Arts' which aired on 1450 WCTC AM in N.J. All shows included interviews with artists, writers, musicians, composers, actors, educators, authors, poets, performers and creatively talented people in a wide variety of the arts in Canada and throughout the U.S.
She is a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of B'nai Jacob Synagogue in Charleston and created and headed the LivingWell Health Fairs in 2006 and 2007 and the Art Expo 2008 and Art Expo 2009, which were all community events.
Linda is a Kentucky Colonel. She is a 1972 graduate of the Silva Mind Method, a Reiki Master and she is certified in the Emotional Freedom Technique.
After 40 years of being a resident of New Jersey, Linda moved back to W. Va. where she grew up. She is the mother of three adult children, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She has a brother, Gary and they share a cat named Kitan.
